Bestowed the name by rapper/producer Ready 45 from DBD. Roze Red, singer/songwriter/Recording Artist and part of two Chicago born Latin urban groups DBD and Jibaro Soul a.k.a Humboldt Park Lagoon (HPL), has made her name as a Latin urban hip-hop soul artist in the hip-hop community of Independent Artist/Music Capital Chicago, Illinois.



Native Chicagoan of Puerto Rican descent, her soulful style compliments that of Mary J. Blige, Leona Lewis, Beyonce and Alicia Keys. Her Ability to sing in coloratura ranges like Mariah Carey make this seasoned vocalist a hot commadity in the hip-hop community being asked to coach, collaborate with and write for artists of all genres.



Her studio experience goes back to the age 14 years old with her endeavours of starting an all girl group. Before then, gracing the stages of churches as well as regional and international school competitions. Travelling on International tours with Gospel group "All Honor" she has the experience of pouring her soul out for thousands at a time.



Starting off rapping and singing with Torture Chamber, TC records, she went on to perform at open mic's and do shows with rapper/producer P.R.I.S.M. together they won an all expense paid trip to grace the stage of Syndicated talk show Sabado Gigante for thier "Estrellas del futuro de Reggeton" segment in Miami, Florida. She has won the first round of Amateur night on Showtime at the Apollo in Harlem, New York and has participated on the game show, "30 Seconds to Fame" in Hollywood, CA.



This independent underground Hip-hop Soul artist/business woman is no stranger to the stage being sought after by the City of Chicago and Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce for cultural and Political events as the Official American and Puerto Rican National Anthem singer since the age of 16.



After recording over 60 solo songs and over 50 collaborations she is ready to take her passion to the next level. Working alongside "Latino Fashion Week" Co-Founder Cesar Rolon of Imagen consultants for representation and with the support of fellow Chicago artists, she is currently working on a complete album project at, "Land of Oz" studios with Oscar Lopez.
