Are you feeling rap is missing something? Feeling Hip-Hop's true essence is fading? 50 cent couldn't have put it better, "It is about time for this rap game to be put in a chokehold". could the man with the upper hand be none other than "RONE". Defiantly. and for those whom haven't had a chance to experience his flava, you are missing out! With lyrical content that is refreshing as ice tea, the industry needs him!! As an individual that reps the Midwest and Memphis, RONE has lived in various areas within.

Born in Indiana, RONE quickly had a chance to witness street life at the tender age of seven when he had his first encounter with the law. from there on life was only a struggle. Being sent to live with various family members due to his objectionable behavior only exposed him to crime and money early on. He was forced to bounce around from Indiana to Tennessee, to Missouri to Kentucky and even to Minnesota.

With no true stability, the young man in him only grew wilder, and the stakes grew larger. Determine to one day change his life, RONE always found refuge in poetry and writing. Yet, he never recognized his true gift. He continued to live life on the fast track. It was only when a close relative and friend was killed did he realize life had more meaning than just getting cash money.

After several years in an emotional slump, he was miraculously awakened spiritually. Quite naturally rap was the avenue in which he chose to share and spread his insight. He feels his words have the ability to make CHANGE in a lost generation.

After the death of Tupac Shakur, RONE felt the need to, even more so continue the uplift. "If rap had a body and everyone in the game represented a particular part of that body, Tupac would have represented the heart" RONE believes rap is missing something now, and that would be true integrity. In which many believe he can provide. "Having a whip is nice, but no matter what, once you arrive at your destination you then have to walk to where you are going. and there you must stand alone."

Therefore, the near future goals for him would not be just putting 24's on his big bodies, but to form non-profit organizations geared to put a stop to the expanding problems of poverty. "Let us rap to bring a consciousness of peace to mankind. Not necessarily denouncing war but recognizing that this is a time for peace to be spoken into."

This artist has a multitude of talents. RONE has appeared on several radio stations across the country and movie sets, such as, Soul Of The Game, Leauge Of Their Own, MC Breed's production of Dollar and still working. And some promoting, as well, with his first gig bringing 8-ball & MJG, TELA, Mr. Mike, Junior Mafia, Lil Kim to his local city. In which he feels they also influenced him along with NWA, Rakim, Cool J, Scarface, Nas, Tupac, Bigs, MC eight, & Too Short. Within this strong influential combination, you'll discover RONE'S own personal style. Enjoy!
