Ron The Sound Guy

I've been a Christian musician since 1978. I started out playing praise & worship, with in a small Pentecostal Church, Calvary Church, in Bay City, MI, pastored by Jack Ruff.



I went to Bay City Central, but got kicked out a month before graduation in 1982, so I missed seeing everyone who I went to school with graduate.



In 1981, I was 17 years old and I met a guy named Tim Lagan, who I worked with, and he said that he had a band, and wondered if I'd like to come to a band practice, of course I said yes! I eventually joined the band "Jericho", where I played lead guitar and sang background vocals.



Within a year the band broke up, but during that time I met my wife, Sue. She played tamborine and sang harmony, in the band, and we began our relationship way back in 1981.



I thought that I would share a few tunes I've written, with the My Space community.



I have a passion for music, both in producing/recording and running live sound for bands. It all started because my dad showed me a few chords on the guitar.



I also learned that I could record track upon track by connecting two cassette decks together. Dad had a couple of those cheap Radio Shack mics and I would stay up, sometimes all night, just recording from deck to deck. The rest is history!
