DESCRIPTION:
Orpheus Clarinet Choir and participants of the 12th Ionian Summer Music Academy play Mozart' s Don Giovanni, Overture and Introduzione (Notte e giorno faticar)

The “Orpheus Clarinet Choir” was founded in 2001 in Corfu and the beginning
performances were as a clarinet quartet.
Most of musicians ensemble study at conservatories and universities, otherwise some of them have completed their academic degrees. The repertoire of the ensemble is
consisted of transcriptions and arrangements of (classical, romantic) masterpieces and also contemporary music by Greek composers.
The ensemble has performed in Madrid (2nd European Clarinet Festival), in Assisi 's Clarinetfest 2013 (Italy), at Thessaloniki State Orchestra’s Underground Festival, in Corfu, Athens etc.
