"There's not much you can say about Rock Plaza Central that hasn't already been said. They're possibly one of the greatest bands that nobody knows and whilst they're slowly growing into a folk/rock beast of which the likes we've never seen, they still somehow retain a grounded, cohesive musical genius that you just don't see nowadays." - Strangeglue.com, July 25, 2009
When Rock Plaza Central first burst onto the scene in 2006, very few people had even heard of them. But on the strength of their live performances and their brilliant 3rd CD, Are We Not Horses, they made countless Top 10 lists in both 2006 and 2007, had their album studied in a graduate course at the University of South Alabama, and Rolling Stone called them "stars-in-waiting" after a performance at SxSW in Austin, Texas.
RPC has released four full-length CDs, including the critically acclaimed Are We Not Horses (2006), about robotic horses who think they are real horses, a prequel to that called the world was hell to us (2003), a much older disc called Quantum Butterass (1997), and a new CD called .at the Moment of our Most Needing, or If Only They Could Turn Around, They Would Know They Weren't Alone that many reviewers are claiming to be "their best work to date"!
