Der 1983 geborene Rocko, zeichnet sich durch die Individualität seiner Beats aus. Seine Inspirationsquellen liegen im amerikanischen Süden, beispielsweise Künstler wie Timbaland und Neptunes. Aber auch Produzenten wie Just Blaze und Sha Money xl haben seinen Stil geprägt.

Angefangen hat es vor ca. 10 Jahren, wie wohl bei vielen anderen mit Graffiti, wodurch er Kontakte knüpfte u. a. zu Butch Spencer und Shinetod. Mit 14 Jahren begann Rocko mit dem Auflegen. Beats von Premier und Pete Rock brachten ihn 2 Jahre später dazu, sich an eigenen Produktionen zu versuchen. Damals dienten die Beat zum freestylen und kleinen Produktionen von Butch & Co. Nach der Gründung von WF

(Wahre Freunde: Butch Spencer, Shinetod, Bass-T, André Arg Assi, Eachone, Moe, Rocko,) veröffentlichten diese ihr erstes Mixtape Auftakt im Jahre 2001. Heute besteht WF nur noch aus drei Mitgliedern: Butch, Shine und Rocko. Bald darauf fand Rocko neben dem Produzieren auch zum Rappen. Kleine Streitigkeiten gab es im Jahre 2004 während der Zusammenarbeit Rockos mit 173, mit denen er im selben Jahr ein Album veröffentlichte( WF + 173), die zu getrennten Arbeiten führte.

Im Jahre 2005 erarbeitete Rocko zusammen mit Shinetod (S&R) Die Insel-EP, welche zum free download zur Verfügung steht.

Bekannt wurde Rocko einigen vielleicht durch die Internet-EP Sprachtots (Warum nur Promo?) auf der er einige Tracks ( Kein Benefizkonzert, Vielleicht, Aufwiedersehen Remix) produzierte.

Auch in Zukunft können wir noch viel von Rocko erwarten



Rocko was born 1983 in Germany and is characterized by the individuality of

his Beats. His sources of inspiration are artists in the American south, for

example Timbaland and Neptunes.In addition, producers such as Just Blaze and

Sha Money xl coined and shaped his style. It started about 10 years ago,

probably identical to development of many other Hip Hop artists with

Graffiti, whereby he attached contacts to Butch Spencer and Shinetod.With 14

years Rocko began Djing. Beats of Premier(Gangstarr)and Pete Rock brought

him 2 years later to try his own productions. At that time the Beats served

for freestyle raps and small productions for artist such as Butch Spencer or

other local musicians.After the establishment of WF (Wahre Freunde: Butch

Spencer, Shinetod, bass t, André badly Assi, Eachone, Moe, Rocko) they

published their first Mixtape prelude in the year 2001. Today WF consists

only of three members:Butch Spencer, Shinetod and Rocko.Soon after his first

productions Rocko also discovered his skills in rappin. There were small

disputes in the year 2004 during the cooperation work of Rocko and 173,

with whom he released an album the same year, which caused the end of the

cooperations.

In the year 2005 Rocko and Shinetod worked on their first common EP called

"die Insel EP",which can be downloaded for free.Rocko became known for many

with his work on "Sprachtot" internet EP (Warum nur Promo?) on which

he produced several tracks such as ("Kein

Benefizkonzert","Vielleicht","Aufwiedersehen Remix").Since then he proofed

his producing skills in many tracks which can be heard on different albums

for example: "Butch Spencer - erstes release","Sprachtot - Warum noch

ein Mixtape".).In the future he aims for international cooperations with

artist from different backgrounds and genres to expand his versatility.
