Black Jack

ENGLISH BIOGRAPHY



The band called Black Jack was born in a very hot mid-summer of 2005

in a small town of Italy, Teramo, thanks to former members: Mario

Alessiani on lead guitar, Lidio "Stoneface" Pietrofaccia on bass

guitar and Lidio Mancini on drums. From the first time they play

toghether these guys decided to walk the roots of Rock. This means a

lot of Pink Floyd, Queen, Deep Purple, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin

waft in the air and so Black Jack Star begin to shine. After 2

years spent for seeking a real rock frontman they found him in Paolo

Ceritano and then Black Jack begin to composing theirs first EP,

including four typical hard rock songs with powerful riffs and new

great rock sound. So the guys keep on playing live to show the whole

world how hard they play! At the end of the first year toghether the

band sign with one of the greatest italian rock agency: Bologna Rock

City and gain high visibility and meet the greatest italian rock bands.

Spend summer 2008 composing new songs that will compose the first full

lenght named Black Jack; meanwhile live shows proceed and many

partnership like Pino Scotto, Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango and Silver Dirt!



BIOGRAFIA ITALIANO



I Black Jack nascono nel mezzo dell'estate del 2005 in una piccola

città chiamata Teramo, grazie ai suoi membri fondatori: Mario Alessiani

alla chitarra, Lidio Pietrofaccia al basso e Lidio Mancini alla

batteria. Dalla prima volta che i 3 suonano insieme decidono di

percorrere le strade del rock. Questo significa molti Pink Floyd,

Deep Purple, Queen, Van Halen e Led Zeppelin nel loro repertorio e la

stella dei Black Jack comincia a splendere. Dopo 2 anni spesi nel

cercare un vero rock frontman il gruppo trova Paolo Ceritano e i 4

cominciano a comporre il loro primo EP, composto da 4 tipiche canzoni

hard rock con riff potenti e un nuovo sound rock. Così i ragazzi

continuano a suonare live per mostrare al mondo intero quanto suonano

forte! A conclusione del primo anno della nuova formazione la band si

lega a una delle migliori agenzie di rock italiane: Bologna Rock City,

grazie alla quale acquista grande visibilità e stringe rapporti con

le migliori rock band della penisola. Passa l'estate 2008 a comporre

nuove canzoni che andranno a formare il primo full lenght a nome

Black Jack; intanto continuano i live e le collaborazioni tra le

quali spiccano i ruoli di band d'apertura a Pino Scotto, Faster Pussycat, Bang Tango, Silver Dirt and Bad Bones!
