Rob Roar is one of the very few DJ’s to have played every Ibiza super-club, he has performed much talked about sets on the legendary terrace for ‘We Love Space’ Sundays @ Space, Manumission @ Privilege & Amnesia, 5 hour Bora Bora sets, Miss Moneypennys @ El Divino, Es Paradis, Mambo, Es Vive after Space, Sands, Guest mixes on Ibiza Global and Cadena Radio, Pacha and Judgement Sunday @ Eden.

Rob recently mixed the ‘Featuring Luciana’ (Bodyrox/Taio Cruz) Album with four Phonetic tracks featuring, including Rob’s ‘Neon Lights’ on Island Records/Universal. The Album made a big impact on a Global scale hitting No.7 in the Itunes Album Chart. Rob has now compiled and mixed Six CD compilations with his Counter Culture II bestowed a ‘Best Album’ award from Music Week.
•Radio:
Rob hosted Ministry of Sounds flagship radio show (Saturday nights 6-8pm) with Allister Whitehead and can be found presenting and guest mixing for various radio stations across the world.

Rob has written and produced the No.1 record of Ibiza three times under his Max Linen guise (with partner Leiam Sullivan) putting him firmly in the Ibizan Record Books. His Max Linen Production ‘Neon Lights’ hit the prestigious No.1 DMC Buzz Chart, No.1 Music Week Coolcuts with vocals and Lyrics by Nick Clow (Pet Shop Boys) & Luciana (Bodyrox/Taio Cruz).
All of his own productions have topped the UK Club Chart, DMC Buzz, Coolcut & Mixmag Charts with Pete Tong supporting every production on Radio 1. With a constant stream of leading worldwide Press/Internet sites running interviews, reviews & features on Rob, he has become one of the busiest DJ’s on the scene.

Autumn 2010; Ibiza Kings Max Linen revisit their House Music & No.1 Ibiza Anthem ‘The Soulshaker’; Pete Tong on Radio 1 “This is Massive! big for me at Wonderland”. Championed by Groove Armada, Axwell, David Guetta, Roger Sanchez, ATFC & Dave Seaman with Rob also remixing his Ibiza hit ‘Flashback’ for 2010/11, the single was Roger Sanchez’s ‘Record of the year’ on Galaxy Radio and No.1 in Pete Tong’s Radio 1 Ibiza Buzz Chart.
Rob has written and produced with Boy George, receiving a Double Platinum Disc (600,000 sales) and recently with the legendary Tom Jones (Forthcoming on Phonetic Autumn 2010)

•Advert & Film: Four of Rob’s Phonetic singles feature on the soundtrack for the new Ibiza Movie ‘And the beat goes on’ with Jimi Mistry (The Guru, East is East, Blood Diamond) with Budweiser USA using Rob’s ‘The Soulshaker’ track for two years running.
Rob Roar is renowned for whipping dancefloors into a frenzy, playing upfront eclectic House sets, playing material, most of which will turn out to be key clubbing anthems months down the line…a key player in pushing the House Music scene forwards.
