DESCRIPTION: This version, minus one verse, took a one day at a more popular dockside berth at Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival, plus a few hours on our first morning towards home, to compose itself! Questions asked by the visiting public while clearly answered on the bio sheet they'd read, were frequently asked in person as well. I thought next year we could have a sung version for the crew to present at each FAQ, and the song grew somewhat into a tale of the hospitality and adventures of Skipper-Dan Johnson and the Avenger II "...a friend to me!" and to all who sail in her, the Crew of the Avenger!
