Roberto Jonata

Roberto Jonata, pianist and composer, carried out his studies at the Vicenza Accademy of Music and graduated with A+ Levels in Piano. He later perfects his skills with Bruno Canino and then at the "Scuola Superiore of Musica da Camera" with the " Trio di Trieste".
Robert successfully took part in live concert performances and recordings with Antonella Ruggiero, Giò Di Tonno, Patrizia Laquidara, the Nat Veliov & Koçani Orkestar, Patrizio Baù, Luca Bassanese and Cinzia Fontana.
He boasts many awards gained in National and International Instrumental Competitions; in 2005 he was given an award by the famous Italian actor Michele Placido at the International Competition " Mario Nascimbene Award of Chieti" for hids composition of film soundtracks.
As a sideman he has published 5 albums as follows: Luca Bassanese - Compilation of the winners of the XV edition of the "Premio Recanati" (2004 - Musicultura), Luca Bassanese - Oggi che il qualunquismo è un'arte, mi metto da parte e vivo le cose a modo mio (2005 - Xland), Bruno Conte plays Lucio Battisti (2005), Luca Bassanese - Al Mercato (2006 - Venus), Massimo De Ciechi - Questo strano viaggio (2007 - Deasonus), Luca Bassanese - La società dello spettacolo (2008 - Venus).
He has also published 5 albums as a leader: Roberto Jonata plays (2002 - Videoradio/Fonola), Kimikà (2002), Composte Passioni (2006 - Buenaonda), with the extraordinary participation of the singer Luca Bassanese and journalist/writer Gian Antonio Stella, Piano Solo (2008 - Buenaonda).
He takes intensive part in live concert activities and festivals in the most important cities throughout Italy and also boasts partecipations in National Radio and TV programs such as "Premio Recanati", "Effetto Sabato" (Rai) e "Talent1" (Mediaset).
In 2009, his videoclip "Yann Tiersen Tribute", dedicated to the French composer, resulted as the most voted in the "Talent 1" top classifications, transmitted by the TV network "Italia 1".
