Roadkill

Roadkill started in 1993 with playing Hard Rock covers but found way more satisfaction in writing their own music.
After a few changes in the Roadkill line-up, Marco Hendriks joined the band on vocals, the band recorded several demo-tapes, the “Pyramid” mini-CD, and the full-length album “Merlin”.
Vocalist Marco died halfway through 2005 because of cancer and although we were all deeply saddened, Roadkill decided to keep the Metal Flame burning. They found a new front man named Marc Mac Blade (ex Wastelands) and Jack Dekker completed the band as their new guitarist. They started to write and record their "Dark Side" EP in 2007. The five killer-tracks will show you the absolute, undeniable dedication of this band to Heavy Metal.
Over the years the band has shared the stage with numerous local bands and bigger bands like: Vengeance, Benedictum, Joe Stump, House of Lords, Freedom Call, Ross the Boss, to name a few.
In 2008 & 2009 the band didn’t perform that much but has written lots of new material for an upcoming full-length CD to be recorded in late 2010.

With a new guitarist, Tim Wolvetang (ex-Black Knight, ex-Speedchaser) replaced Jack on the six-string, Roadkill will strike the metalscene like never before!
With the upcoming CD, their own festival "Roadgrill" and joining the "Real Steel Alliance", there is no denying: Roadkill is back!!
