Long hard summer days growing up on a farm in middle Tn. Humming a song as the days turned to night. Old country churches ,with white haired Saints sitting on the front pews. Black nights living in a Hollow surrounded with the live orchestra of katydids, crickets , bull frogs. Hot summer nights with the windows open catching a breeze,filtering in threw the screen, with the whipper will echoes, and distant hoot owl talk.Sunday gatherings at the farm with all the family coming in to enjoy a meal , prepared with care,love and big family laughter. Tractor hums, creating the tune of the word puzzles in my head on hot days in the field. Thanking God each day for my family ,life, friends and experiences and all those great writers and artist that made the sounds on crackling little black radios with little town country stations and songs that last forever.
