Biography:Rhenium, a rock band, reaches new heights and new fans with the release of their third studio album, "Birth of a Century." Having already released a demo, EP, and two full-length self-released albums; Rhenium is reaching people all over the world through music. Mixing tenacity and passion together since 2002, many people were quick to assume the best from Rhenium. Comprised of Charlie Ray; guitar, Chris Ray; bass, Eddie Pierce; singer, the band's musical interest and ideas were transformed into 22 original songs in the summer of 2003.



The band knows fans are the essential element. Fans moshing, cheering, dancing, and singing along to songs is a common sight for Rhenium. The on-stage chemistry is fantastic, and is felt by old and new fans alike.



Not wanting to be confined to one genre, Rhenium is constantly determined to demonstrate their artistic ability. Crossing the boundaries into different mediums of Rock, "Birth of a Century" is a testament to the bands desire to make music that can envelop the senses and command attention.



The bands unwavering determination, focus, and professionalism have earned them a reputation as one of the hardest working bands in Houston. Having already been featured artists on Houstons 94.5 KTBZ The Texas Buzz," as well as establishing themselves as a dominant presence in the Houston Rock scene, Rhenium is looking to the future, ready for whatever challenges may come.
