VilHelm comes from Iceland.

Brought up in a small village in the far far north of Iceland; Laugar population >300, where I could do what I wanted and run around the hills and and stuff free as a bird only coming back home when hungry.

In the all bright summers, everything is possible and in the dark snowy winters the stars and northern lights keep you company, telling stories of times long gone. I was always doing weird things that no-one else did, some might say I was possessed and wicked, but always kind and helpful to those who needed, like my late grandmother Steinunn, used to say.

In this small village my mind was shaped to create.



I moved around Iceland and years later found my self in the capital, Reykjavik, with my alt. rock band 200.000 naglbitar. and my paintings and doing quit OK for a small village country boy, still creating and still enjoying life to the fullest.



Still believing you should always do what you want to do and believe in, I moved to London with my lovely girlfriend Thordis, doing nothing but writing songs for a new album and creating stuff/art. And living life in lovely Hackney.



A singer/songwriter with an acoustic guitar, writing songs of lust, love, death, life and rebellion. Recorded in kitchen and bedroom of an East London flat. Just a voice and a guitar and some stuff going on in the background at the same time and some friends lending a hand in a few songs. Bless them for that.



And I'm back in Iceland now. the saga continues.
