Ali is not a perfect man from Los Angeles South Central section. Ali doesn't think he is better than any other human, by any means he walks an equality life. Ali doesn't put money before humans
and advises others that the love of GOD makes the world go round. He has been writing lyrics since he was 10 years old.
Baldwin Hills Elementary school across the street from Ali's
house was a blessing, not only for school, but on Wedsdays
there was bible study, and on Sunday it was church at the school,
and Ali was in attendance @ Zoe Christian Fellowship.
Baldwin Hills Park less than a block down from Ali's house is
where he also played Football/Basketball/Baseball along with major groups
of wonderful human beings of many generations,some went Pro.
Ali is a great human being, he can make you laugh ASAP,
and make you think at the same time.
He's laid back and he loves all races of people, even if you are purple,
Ali would be your friend.
Respect of a human is what he promotes and real love for everyone,
with a heart. If anyone can bring the East and the West North and South
together , Ali can. He has much love and respect from lots of people,
the rappers and singers and producers that know him. There's alot of them that know Ali can help bring a change with music and his soul.
Ali survived the mean streets of Los Angeles, CA and also south east
San Diego, CA where his cousins Ajamu and Sonny Bo also do music.
Ali was exposed to the record business from the best Dj in the world
from Compton ,CA , yeah that's right, DJ ALADDIN.
Ali stayed down with the Ammo Dump prod. company and hooked up with the best street promoter from Compton, CA, Scotty "D" who showed
Ali how to promote records in California.
R.E.V. learned fast and got to know everyone affiliated with DJ ALADDIN
and Scotty "D". Ali was able to even meet DR. DRE and Snoop.
Ali hopes to work with them on a couple of songs, GOD willing.
A gangsta rapper Ali couldn't be because even though he grew up with them
and worked with them , he stayed himself and gained respect for not trying
to be something he wasn't. Ali was also able to get some of them to rap about GOD.
Ali knew alot of people from Ministers to gangsters, I mean you name it. Ali works as a campaign organizer for
State Assemblymen , Union leaders, Governors , State Senate , Presidents and Mayors, and many others. Later on that helped Ali to network in all areas of community outreach programs, or just the community it's self.
Ali's favorite rapper was King T and when Ali heard songs like Flirt,
Played like a piano, Bass , he was amazed , and rest in peace Mixmaster Spade.
By the grace of GOD he not only got to meet King T, but became part of
the Kings family. Ali also loved the D.O.C , and much love to him.
Ali loved LL Cool J, cause Ali's friend Bobcat was working with LL and LL was HOT!!. The R.E.V. also loved and was amazed by U.T.F.O , The Boogie Boys, Slick Rick, Dana Dane, RUN DMC , Mele Mel , The Fat Boys and Kurtis Blow who Ali also met and loves. Ali spent time in the valley part of Los Angeles and would see 2 Pac a lot at recording studios. Ali was a friend of two members in Thug Life , and Pac was cool
with Ali, it was smiles and handshakes always between them. R.E.V.
Promoted Thug Life's first album and many other rappers and R&B singers
albums and movies. These friends on here Ali either met , knows them
or Ali helped push their project in promotions. Scotty "D" had 17
record labels product all at once, They promoted alot of people
and took pictures to prove it.
The R.E.V. soaked up all the knowledge he could from his gangsta rap
family and started to rap gospel in "93" and never looked back.
Ali is not an ordained minister, some friends just call him a reverend
based on the rap lyrics, and his true vibe.
What does the R.E.V. mean, right?
It's a message and I assure you , its Godly. If
you don't know you better ask Him.
Ali promotes to be yourself and never give up.
Ali was blessed to have got close to his rap icons and learned how to run
studios, and see how the music was put together several times.
Ice T told Ali one time to stay focused cause when you get paid with money or the blessings from GOD, there are several people trying to brake you .
Ali always remembered that and learned that the record business is not all what it seems, but you can make it with GOD for sure.
After 20 years of schooling , R.E.V. is ready to remind you about
GOD and all that he does for us.
