I left school in 1979 and at that time was moving with my childhood friends who were soon to become known as Malachi Rastanational Sound. My first recolection of hearing a sound is 1977 when I was 14 for the queens silver jubilee and Ital Rockers set up their sound system on the street(Street Party) in my neighbourhood. Early days going to local dances like Mill Street, The Civic Theatre, Drill Hall ect and also MFM in Northampton was a popular hall for some serious dances with the likes of Jah Shaka, Quaker City, JungleMan, Sir Coxsone and so on.



As the early 80's came I started moving with Blakamix and when he passed his driving test we started going to dances in his blue cortina. Blakamix was soon to lay the foundations for his Blakamix International Records.

I was the first after Mixman himself to voice any tunes at Blakamix Studio.



Unitone Soundimentional Studio was founded in the late 80's when I managed to get a Fostex 260 4 track Recorder/Mixer



I had already been doing works in a couple of little studios and it was nice to have the convenience of having a studio at home and build tunes at my own leisure. I started building tunes with Blakamix and also Filo who I'd already been workin with for some time, he played bass.



Soon I had local vocalists passing thru and recording like Idren Natural, Jacob Naphty, Kojack irie(Jahko lion), Tatty Levi, Fire Ranks(R.I.P), Kelvin Judah, Dennis Nolan, Phonso Dan, Patoo Briggy, Jimmy Ranks, Issis Dread, TLC(Eric) and others.



Time come up to date and Unitone Soundimentional is still around in the background. Working with singers like Idren Natural, Zebby Blax, Elisha Dinah, Dill-In-Jah(Clinark Dill), MC Trooper, Minds Eye Dub(Melodica), Robbie Valentine, Ras Zacharri, General Smiley, Ras Tali, Hatta Benji and others.



Nuff respect to PG(Filo), Blakamix, Russ Disciples, Mark Sharples, Jah Man Jonah Dan, DCX, 10 String(OneNess) and each and every one.
