The Finnish synth-pop band 'Retropop' returns with the long awaited new single 'Tää ilta'. It's the first single off the new album 'Tämän
hetken tähden' to be released in the autumn 2011.
Founded in 2005, Retropop rapidly made their way onto the playlists of Finnish radios with their hit single 'Pieni ja ihmeellinen' from their debut album with the same name. The music video for the song was highly successful winning the 2007 Audience Muuvi award. It also received over 110 000 views on YouTube and prime airtime on Finnish music tv channels. During the album's release year 2008 Retropop went on to perform their energetic live set in front of enthusiastic audiences around Finland.
While the brand new single continues their unmistakable sound comprised of bumbling bass, beautiful melodies and Saila's bright voice, it sets the scene for a whole album full of powerful stories. The single is a great showcase of how Retropop's music can really take the listener for a dance through different emotions.
