is a retrofuture anomoly. a blatant blurring of genres - you'll catch the

retrofuturites playing anything from a house groove to a noise rock jungle

tune to some breakbeat soul jazz. funky but not funkadelic, groovy but not

laxidazical, precise but not accurate, rerun produces a sound somewhere in

between Grant Green and Gary Numan, Galactic and Tortoise, Mahavishnu Orchestra

and Kraftwerk, Wagner and Led Zepplin. not only does rerun find it's

own in music of the past, but they strive to find a balance between the past

and the future of music as we know it. this balance has taken rerun into a

new realm: the retrofuture.

RETROFUTURE

MUSIC is

the hits of tomorrow brought back in time for all to experience in the present.

when rerun covers a song - it becomes a new entity - a retrofuture hologram

that lets us forget about where we are and allows us to enter a new euphoric

universe. EXAMPLES/ early 20's out of the 90's. old new wave. new old wave.

future funk. technical techno. retro rock. the new face of fusion music.

BAND

MEMBERS: the new faces that match these sounds are band members

john fee (bass), joey mariano (guitar), eathan janney (keyboards), and andy

sapko (drums, percussion). three are from the capital of the midwest, Chicago,

and one is from New Jersey. The bassist and drummer played piano duets together

at age 7. joe is an artist. john likes film. eathan enjoys cricket(?). andy

can beat box. schooled in jazz at Mason Gross (Rutgers University) in New

Brunswick, New Jersey, rerun still uses improvisation but is not afraid to

just lock in and play something through composed.

HISTORY:

in their five years as a musical entity they have played across the states

including in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana, Michigan,

Illinois and others. through their well-known live performances and recordings,

rerun brings their audience with them to the retrofuture.
