What started as a tribute-project to The Ramones and the Misfits in 2001, became a serious band in 2002 after several successful shows. The Renderings’ idea was to blend 77-Punk Rock with Rock ‘n’ Roll and modern Punkrock elements, thus “rendering” the 77-spirit in a new form.
Their music has also been described as „First-class good-mood-punkrock that transforms every regular bar into a party, at which people put their arms around each other, sweating and bawling to the lyrics they actually don’t know.“ (Ox-Magazine, No.59)
So far they have released 3 Longplayers: "Die for RocknRoll" (I.I. Rec.), "Miss Punkrock" (Middle Class Pig/Cargo Rec.) and "Head Back" (Come Again Music). For vinyl-fans they have also released a 7" Single called "Blue Saloon".
The four guys have played in clubs all over Germany, as well as in Switzerland, France and Italy. They have toured with and supported many bands such as NoRMAHL, The Lurkers, Dritte Wahl, Madsen, Rawside, Mad Sin, Time Again, The Argies and many more. In Spring 2009 they have been on a 3-weeks tour in South America (Brasil, Uruguay, Argentina). Wherever they play they convince audiences with a tight, loud and furious live-show.
