REGATTA

Regatta is Dublin's Alternative Drivetime Radio Show that broadcasts 5-6.30pm every Monday, Thursday and Friday throughout Dublin on 104.9 FM Stereo. Playing new/unsigned/underground and established Irish and international bands and songwriters. The show was started in 2003 by Patrick Gallagher and named Regatta (after the instrumental song on The Police album Regatta de Blanc). Fellow musical comrade and Arsenal fan Joel joined the show in 2004 but has since moved on to other pastures.Samantha Kim is the newest member of the Regatta team, she brings a fresh enthusiasm for music and writes most of the reviews.Sam is now presenting thursdays edition of the show.
