RedZone Entertainment was founded by Mark E. Stewart and C. ’Tricky’ Stewart in 1995.

Red Zone is the parent company of the Stewart brothers’ self-made musical empire, which includes Publishing Companies (2412 Music Publishing & Remarkable Music Publishing), their 5,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Recording Studio (Triangle Sound), their Management Company (Red Life Management) & their Production Company (RedZone Ent).

The first 3 years in Atlanta were about becoming part of the creative community. 1998 was the breakout year for RZ, having huge hits with records like JT Money’s “Who Dat”, Mya’s “Case of the Ex”, as well as discovering their Grammy Award winning producer, Shekspere, TLC’s “No Scrubs” & Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills”.

The company relocated to Atlanta upon signing a multi-artist, multi-song deal with L.A. Reid at LaFace Records, which spawned the critically acclaimed Sam Salter ‘It’s On Tonight’ debut album. Their second artist signing, Blu Cantrell received nominations for Best New Artist from both the Grammys and the American Music Awards as well as a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Vocal Performance and the 1 smash “Hit Em Up Style”. Also during that era, the opportunity was given to work with the fiery Philly native, Pink …

Having learned from the best, Tricky, Mark and Judi Stewart create a powerful combination of creative and business expertise.

In 2003, RedZone shifted from a producer driven company to more of a songwriter's haven with the best in-house vocal producers. Building relationships with other established producers and Atlanta-based production companies has become a priority.
