WHO I AM
I am a nationally known producer as well as a CEO of LaCasa Studio LLC, and licenced audio engineer. Jersie and I have owned and ran LaCasa Studio LLC for several years together, but at that time we were the only engineers, I was the only producer, and she was the only writer/photographer. As time progressed we acquired a very talent staff. I am currently the only in house producer at LaCasa, I use alot of different keyboards but my favorite is the Fantom X, I use a mpc 2000xl, and LIVE INSTRUMENTS or my co-producers. Im not a huge fan of sampling although I have tried it, I like starting from scratch to create a unique sound of my own.
WHO I'VE WORKED WITHI was a finalist (top 3) out of 8,000 producers in Vh1's 2007 Hip Hop Honors Award. I made the front page of St. Louis American Newspaper and the St. Louis Post Dispatch (both for production work). I have worked with industry professionals such as Arista Records Sam Salter (Tyrese, Babyface, Fantasia), Trackstarz (Brittany Spears, Madonna, Chingy), Omen (Mya, Fabolous, Jae Millz), Potzee (Warner Brothers Records) Apolo (MTV True Life). I also have/had songs playing nationwide on clear channel stations and xm radio. Im currently working on a soundtrack ft. Alicia Keys, John Legend, Vanessa Williams ect, a theme song for the televised Utimate Fighting Championships, Sara Stokes new project and a few independent artists. I do work with all independent artists and sell instrumentals at very reasonable prices for the up and coming artist!
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Singers - Each individual must be between the ages of 18-27, marketable, unique, with 5+ years in singing experience and at least 1 year performing. - Songwriters - Each chosen individual must be able to write hip hop hooks, and full rnb, and pop songs. They will be expected to both take home instrumentals and present their work and work side by side with artists, producers, and other writers. Each writer MUST be able to present one uptempo and one mid tempo/ballad project they wrote and can either perform themselves or allow us to hear a recorded performance of it.- Mock Singers - A mock singer would be responsible for laying down mocks or "demos" of songs written for a professional artist, producer, or soundtrack. You must have 5+ years in singing experience. All ages are welcomed to apply.
