"Rebecca Correia has a voice that would leave Simon Cowell speechless. Her songs wind and wrap around you, taking you from the somber and bittersweet to the soothing and angelic, never without passion. Lyrically she writes of experiences that have touched her personally, and works them into songs that connect with her listeners."

"A Broken Winged Angel."

- Vance Gilbert Acoustic Artist, Singer/Songwriter

Rebecca Correia is a genuine force of nature - one who fiercely outshines the current avalanche of artificially manufactured stars.

Her exquisitely sung, passionately performed songs reveal an emotional immediacy eagerly shared by her listeners.

In Nashville parlance, she is a triple-threat, that rare combination of talent realized in one person: a soulful songwriter, a feverishly adept musician and a phenomenally gifted singer, which is likely what led Vance Gilbert to call her 'a broken winged angel' after their first shared performance.

Still in her twenties, she's a young veteran whose artistry stretches back 15 years.

Growing up on a rural horse farm in the little town of Rochester, Massachusetts, Rebecca savored her natural surroundings and began writing songs at age nine. She completed her studies and earned her degree at the prestigious Hartt School of Music and expanded the reach of her live performances in cities all across America, from Boston and New York to Miami and Los Angeles.

With well over 200 songs to her credit, she's released five indie CDs, including the critically-acclaimed *Miss You* and solo acoustic tour de force *Soul of Me*, which was recorded live at Sirius Satellite Radio in New York City in 2009.

The growing list of major artists who've welcomed Rebecca as their opener reads like a veritable Who's Who, and so far includes Shawn Colvin, Livingston Taylor, Beth Nielsen Chapman, Vance Gilbert, Melissa Ferrick, Cliff Eberhardt, Tracy Bonham, Jessie Colter, Freedy Johnston, Reel Big Fish, Black Eyed Peas, Raining Jane, Ryan Cabrera and Lucy Kaplansky. Brian McKnight bandmate Matt Cusson and Capitol Records recording artist Javier are among the close friends with whom she often shares stages.

Currently splitting her time between Rochester and Nashville, Rebecca averages a hundred shows each year. Whether performing solo acoustic guitar and piano, backed by bandmates or set amidst fellow songwriters in the round, her performances are equally mesmerizing

5 STARS (out of 5)

The first thing I noticed about Rebecca's music is the intelligent song writing. The lyrics are not repetitive or silly, but rather mature, beautiful, insightful, and sometimes heartbreaking. Whenever Rebecca plays at The Iron Horse (Northampton, MA) she outshines anyone she shares the stage with. She steals the show everytime. Her newest cd, Miss You, is her best work yet. There is a richness and soulfulness to her voice as well as the music that accompanies her. It hasn't left my cd player yet! Go out and get Miss You and play it loud! - E. Spencer - CD BABY

I have been listening to Rebecca's music since we were both students at the University of Hartford. I introduced many people to her work. I have yet to meet someone not thrilled by nearly every song. I mostly buy cd's for one or two songs, but when I buy her cd's I am buying it for nearly every song on the cd! She has an incredible voice and I have never understood why she isn't a superstar yet. This cd is yet another triumph of her voice and music writing abilities. I can't say enough about how much my wife and I miss those free concerts on campus or at her home. She is one of the few truly undiscovered talented gems out there. Her voice can't compete with the voices on American Idol because she would just ruin the show. You would know she was going to win day one. Trust me, she puts on a fun concert, has a stellar voice, and knows how to write music. All in all I love this cd as I have loved all her cd's. Bravo! - R. Brenner - CD BABY
