Reason To Believe was formed in 1987. Chris recorded a 7 song demo playing all instruments himself asking Jon to sing on them. Rodney & Raidy then joined soon after. R2B was plagued with line up problems throughout it's existence, but played many great shows with really great bands. Fugazi, Scream, Soul Side, The Dickies, Big Drill Car, Agression, Infest, Goo Goo Dolls, DI, Insted, Uniform Choice, Operation Ivy, SNFU, 7 Seconds, The Flaming Lips, Gorilla Biscuts, Pitchfork, Isocracy, Inside Out, Luke Puke & the Vomits and many many others. R2B released "The Next Door ep" in 1988 and When Reason Sleeps Demons Dance in 1990 both on Nemisis Records. They have been out of print for years. R2B ended in 1990 evolving into Sense Field.
