RattleSnake is a newcomer on slovenian rock scene. Founded in march of 2004 the band spent first two years writing material for their first album »Razvoj vrste« (The Evolution of the Species) which was released on May 9th of 2006. Album consists of 14 self written songs which represent freshness and raw energy of the band having fun at what they do. Bluesy sound of guitar and hard driven drums/ bass stampedo are the trademarks of their sound. Before forming RattleSnake, band members played in various slovenian rock groups, performing on festivals with such groups as Laibach, Clawfinger, Thin Lizzy, Rockbitch as well doing concerts abroad (Bosnia, Serbia). Rattlesnake released their first video for single »Ogenj al' led« (Fire or Ice) in April of 2006 which received regular radio and TV airplay. The video received its airplay on MTV Adria (Pure Adria) and became song of the week on several radio stations in Slovenia (Val 202, Radio Val,.). After releasing their second radio and video single »Glej Naprej« (Look Ahead) in november of 2006 and its third one »Barje« (Swamp) the band is now back on radio and TV stations with a hit single »Hvala« (Thank You) which is climbing up major radio and video charts in Slovenia. The song was re-recorded in August of 2007 and features well known slovenian female vocalist Nuska Drascek on vocals. Video was shot on slovenian coast and will be released in early september of 2007. The band will spend summer and the rest of 2007 promoting their latest single »Hvala« and album »Razvoj Vrste« intensively until the end of 2007.
