Rats In The Attic started in the suburbs of Richmond, Texas. We came together in our bassists( RAY ) attic, above his garage. We came up with the name because when we inhabited the attic it was over-run with rats, and when we left our equipment in there the rats would chew up our cords. thus, that is how we got our name -----------------------------------------------We started off as a three piece and the grew to a four piece. we try and sing/play what we know. So far it has worked out very well, and we continue to write new material. --------------------------------------------------------------------TO date we have opened for bands such as: Krum Bums, I Am Wolf, Our Corpse Destroyed, The Murder Junkies, The Mad Conductor, Monster Squad, SS-Kaliert, The Scarred, Time Again, and Los De Verdad--------------------------------------------------And we have also shared the stage with Houston's Finest: Molotov Compromise, Deathbed Repentance, The Quarentines, Outlaw Chaos, Riot Up Front, Dissent, etc.----------------------------------------------------------------------everybody that we have played with so far has made us the band we are today. and we hope to continue playing for years to come.
