Rannvá

I really like to read what other people write in this part, but I do not know myself, what I am to write. Would have loved if this part was smart, clever and honestly written, but nah. Don't know how to be either smart or clever in written English.



But I am honest, both here in this little bio and in my lyrics.



I write personal songs but I also enjoy making up and telling stories. Which ones are what I am not telling you, you can guess if you feel like it.



To make this part short I can tell you that I am from the tiny Faroe Islands which is located in the middle of the north Atlantic Ocean. It is an enchanted place consisted of 18 small islands. In the summer they are all green but mostly white during the winter. The Faroes are surrounded by the sometimes gentle, but more often rough sea.



I'm living in London now where I did study Bmus(hons) in Vocal Performance and Production at London Centre of Contemporary Music.



You can not compare London to the Faroes. Two very different places. One consists of nature and peacefulness and the other of pollution and rush, but I love them both!!!



I am currently working on many new songs. I want to start recording my first album soon! Hopefully that dream will come true without taking me too long.



The genre of my music has changed quite a bit over the last year. Now you can say that my music is more trip hop(ish), gypsy(ish), alternative(ish) and folk(ish) I have a problem defining my own songs I guess. but they still have a little touch of jazz.
