My name is RADANA and my biography.
My story starts in my sisters room where she had a double sided tape player with a microphone input on the front, which allowed me to play music from one side and
record on the other. I must of recorded about 10 vocals at the start then i started mastering my technique
till i got it down to 4 or 5 just rhyming none stop. I recorded about 10 tracks and formed myself a mini mixtape that was really on a tape.
It got passed on as i knew a few people in the music industry and ended up in a certain artists hands who was starting a label whom i knew nothing about. I started recording songs for a artist named TRICKY over a period of a year and a bit. I offer a place on his tour named "13th'' in 2003 it was one of the best feelings, even though i was signed this was a major step towards what i want in life.
The tour was great plus it was my first experience abroad. We first performed at 16.06. Meltdown Festival: Royal Festival Hall, London (UK) 18.06. Night town Rotterdam (The Netherlands) 19.06. Central station Darmstadt (Germany) 21.06. Doctor Music Day, Barcelona (Spain) 24.06. Les Folies Festival, Maubeuge (France) 26.06. Le Zenith, Paris (France) 27.06. Werchter Festival, Werchter (Belgium, mtv live) 28.06. Le Rock Dans Tous Ses Etats, Evereaux (France) 29.06. Glastonbury Festival, Pilton (UK ).
Unfortunately me an TRICKY got frustrated with each other an we called it a day.
I built a little a studio in my flat an started building tracks, i was no producer and i ain't trying to kid no one, i'm a rapper i just wanted to rap. I released my first mixtape in 2004 it was called ''DA GRIND IN DA GRIND OUT'' it was simply stating how i was thinking at the time but it was to too hard for the average listener, however it got 3 and a half mic's in the don diva magazine.
I still felt it was to hard so 3 months later i put out my second mixtape it was called ''DA FIRE IN DA SMOKE'' this cd was just to show the streets i've got the fire and the talent here. 4 Months later i put out my 3rd mixtape called ''5IVE YEARS EARLY'' this mixtape was to show my versatility and pace that i can work at if i wanted to. TRICKY made contact again about the unfinished album which at this time i had no interest in.
I started recording my 4th mixtape with my new camp at the time, it was a couple of locals ''CROW SQUADRONZ''. we put together a double cd mixtape called ''E3'' and while we was working on that mixtape i finish my 5th one called ''THE BLACK PROJECT'' which i didn't release.
i later went on to invite LIELIC on a track which evolved into a perfect soft/rough combination. We both made a choice that would see the beginning of a special story. Lielic was a singer/producer he was going threw some beats one day and i started rapping 'Hey Mama Come Ride With me' we both said lets do this track. Hey Mama was my first track to be listed on t.v.
We recorded a few tracks together but though it was time for a break as we was both solo artists by nature.
I was recording some new music with my producer at the same time of lielic and my departure, I released my 6th cd entitled 'Super League, The Search For The Goblin' via online stores. i built another studio this time with all the experience i have gained we called it Real Money Raps its also my recording label.
Now Feb !3th 2012 i have just release the first part of my album, The EP is entitled 'Real Money Raps Presents The White & Black Edition' its a free download available at firemedia. I expect to release the album some time in the summer of 2012. This is the year i want to break through the scene, i'm coming.
