The band wants to sincerely thank everyone, especially the fans for the love and support. QWIKSAND broke up in 2009, and the musicians are currently pursuing other musical endeavors. Blessings to all who have jammed with us.
Founded nearly 5 years ago by songwriter/guitarist RAS, QWIKSAND became a melting pot of life experience, passion and heart. With songs about drama free good vibes, QWIKSAND earned the love and respect of fans across the country with a sound that made you feel alive. Why did fans drive across a state to catch a show? Why did the king and queen of Sweden come to see QWIKSAND perform at the House of Blues in Los Angeles? Ask the band and they would have told you, "we're here to make you feel good. so get up and dance".
QWIKSAND toured through various cities and was also featured in a surf film and videos. In addition to reviews, press coverage and interviews, QWIKSAND charted on Alternative, AAA, Hot AC commercial and college radio stations with airplay in the US, Canada and UK.
