PUNCHYOURFACE

PUNCHYOURFACE formed in late 2002 by ex Internal Bleeding members Frank Buffolino [guitars] and Jerry Lowe [vocals]. The band was fashioned with the sole intent of creating the most violent combination of New York hardcore and brutal metal. After releasing two well received demos and the now infamous “LIVE AT CBGB’s” CD, PUNCHYOURFACE hit FULLFORCE STUDIOS [Suffocation, Soldiers, This is Hell] to record their first full length record ‘WHITE NIGHTS AND BAR FIGHTS”. The record was released on Long Island, New York’s LAST RESORT RECORDS in May of 2007. What was once a revolving door of members had now become a solid line up of experienced and dedicated musicians with the common focus of bringing realness back to an ever fraudulent scene. Over the next few years “White Nights and Bar Fights” had moved over 3000 units and the band had continued to build its ruthless reputation as a menacing and violent live act. The band then took brief hiatus due to the being fed up with promoters and an ever weakening NYHC scene. Using this frustration as motivation PUNCHYOURFACE revamped their line up and sound to make an even more threatening and real product.
