In 1996, Jose Domingo and Ax Sonora began psychoine as an acoustic guitar duo and recorded the first songs in a demo.as a joke for friends.Then Llis berg join the band as lead guitar, and they began to play in insolit places as supermarkets, art galleries, second hand shops, fashion shows.with underground visual projections following the Andy Warhol's factory way of performing.conceiving shows as efimer music rituals.

They began to grow as a solid project.and Txutx Izquierdo joined the drums, and juan Ra the bass guitar.After being included in some indie compilations as a new interesting band in Spain, an independent label called www.mobydiskrecords.com ofert them to make the psychoine's first album."vanity".

This first album was selected by the press as one of the most promising bands of the year.and they began their first promo tour rolling most of the important cities in Spain and also opening for internacional bands as Sebadoh,and the top spanish bands Los Panetas, Sexy Sadie, Fang, etc.Playing in the biggest spanish festivals.

Two years later Psychoine finished their second album "Shades" (mobydisk records).

and began their Shades tour playing in radio stations, tv shows, and theaters as well as in small cabarets. Then Psychoine did a second Shades tour shared with the mythic 80's band The Chameleons.and the success was incredible.most of the shows were sold out!!!

After some changes in the band, and leaving the record label.actually Psychoine is recording the demos of what it has to be the thirth album.and looking for a new record label interested in their new stuff.

Meanwhile.Jose Domingo and Txutx Izquierdo have acted in the Emmanuel Clemenceau's film "La Frontera" as drug dealersthis film was selected in the N.Y.C. independent film festival, and they went to the premier and to play in some clubs.

The french connection made a "tres poetic" videoclip of the song "vanity".

Jose Domingo has been playing in paris 1-10/03 some club venues solo in representation of the band.as always our 5 spiritual member emmanuel clemenceau gave us the chance of shooting a new videoclip of "june or july"

march of 2005 was the inciatic trip for jose in NYC.in his universal tour."the guitar is the band".he played in some lovely small cafes. he has being playing in hamburg, paris, palma de mallorca,barcelona,london too, and anywhere he has close friends good wine and cigarrettes.
