A refreshingly stylish sixties psychedelic beat band from Bremen, Germany has emerged on the scene.

PSYCHODAISY lives and breathes the post 1965 style beat that became psychedelic which forced opened doors and minds for the future generation(s) of rock bands.



 

The band formed in the Fall 2003 quite spontaneously when the members, all avid admirers of beat and psychedelic, met and played for the first time. It was clear that there was a charismatic aspect to the music and personalities which is often hard to establish, even after years of working together. In other wordsmagic happened and continues to happen. The band quickly made a name for themselves, most especially for their dynamic stage presence.



 



PSYCHODAISY perform their own compositions as well as some older classics which they interpret very stylistically. Their musical repertoire ranges from blues-influenced R´n´B stompers - via psychedelic songflowers - to 60s garage trash. PSYCHODAISY is heavily influenced by the rawness and brutality of bands like the Yardbirds and the Sonics but also by the warmth and depth of Californian bands like the Byrds. They are a real live band, giving 100 % strength and power to the audience. They have already played together with such bands as "Das Pop" (Be), "Dead Moon" (USA), "Chloroform" (N) and many more.



PSYCHODAISY uses equipment that was used for the original recordings of the late sixties
