ONE DAY OVERGROUND FESTIVAL - "ISTERIATA" - LIVE!



It all started in 1996. After playing in different bands Ilian Shiklov- bass and vocals, Ivan Delibaltov-guitar and Miro Moravski- drums gathered to jam favorite cover songs.
After playing a few months they started making their own shit. It was 100% metal. Bands such as Pantera, Machine head, Metallica, Testament and others, inspired the boys. In 1997 Ivan came up with the name PROPAGANDA. After some discussions they all decided that the name suits perfectly the music and the band. Songs became more aggressive, Ilian hardly stopped screaming at the mic.
In 1998 PROPAGANDA released their first single Again. Four old songs recorded at Exhumator Studio between1997-1998.
In 1999 PROPAGANDA played twice at Funkys pub together with Daily noise club. Then the band played with Face up and Last Hope / hard core bands from Sofia /.
PROPAGANDA kicked ass on a summer festival Rock predel and was invited to play live at the 7-th anniversary of Rock radio TANGRA together with the biggest metal bands in Bulgaria. / Suffer H, Desolate, Necromancer/. At the very end of the year played at Storms in Dreams Silence.
There were more new songs and in the beginning of 2000 the band started recording their first album at M&D studios. Till the end of the year there were 9 tracks
And a contract with the metal label Wizard. Finally after a long time of mixing and mastering the album was ready. The title Face to Face. The promotion was on the 16 of December 2001 with special guests Suffer H.
Next year PROPAGANDA opened for HIM at Arena musica. There were also several gigs in OShipka through the year. Then came the biggest experience for the band. It was like a dream came true. SOULFLY played in Sofia and the boys from West Park opened the show. It was unbelievable.
Now they are in studio, where they hammering their new album- SCARS.
