Sometimes in life you come across people of which everything they do appears natural without stressing themselves to the max. They start something new, make a plan, stick to that plan and simply just do it! Roderick Prommersberger. is one of those people.

Looking at his every day life it soon becomes clear that this man is on a mission and nothing is going to stop him. Fascinated by music ever since he can remember, dj Prom cooked up his masterplan of becoming a skilled dj and producer, and up until now he has stuck religiously to it.

Prom started off some years ago, soon got the hang of things but he took his time in order to find the right sound that represents his personal taste in music and this makes that lately things seem to be falling into place.

Not that he took a break from releasing music while finding his sound though, mind you! His discography already shows an extensive list for various highly acclaimed labels such as Soulfuric, Houseworks, Sureplayer, D-Vision, Universal, GUT records, Philly Groove and Elan Recordings amongst others. With almost 30 releases under his belt, Prom is slowly, but surely making a name for himself due to prolific mixes such as the remix he did for the Sugababes.

His strong relationship with American maestro Ian Carey from the Soul Providers, who he met years ago, is essential to both Prom and Ian : They are not only good friends, but they are each other's strongest criticist too.

No one can accuse Prom of being a producer of the lazy kind as he managed to be in his final year of his Medical study next to working in the studio and travelling as a dj. It puzzles most how he manages to find the time for it all, but this shows exactly why he is where he is at the moment: a passion for music and life is one thing, but in the end it is hard work and determination that make that we achieve our goals.
