A long time ago, in a far away land known as the Bay Area. There was a 12 year old kid that was constantly known for getting in trouble with the law, through out CLEARLAKE CA and VALLEJO CA. He went by the name "Pro", due to the fact that no one could properly pronounce his last name. He ended up in lake county juvenile hall, where he knew and ran the streets with most of the inmates. One day while sitting in his cell, his celly Leroy (part of Oakland's group "Section 8") began to write a rap song. Hearing this and already having a passion for hiphop, Pro decided he should also start writing. No more than three hours later he had written himself a six page (86 bar) verse. 16 years later, after being homeless, going to prison then finally moving to Oregon, He has added Logic to the name and intellegence to his songs. Meeting up with Mystro in 1997 the two created "Red Dawn" records, Hooked up with Reggie LaDuff, Opened shows for Spice 1 and Bone Thugs. After appearing on a compilation album with other Portland artist such as M.I.P's and Pro's n Con's, Prologic and Mystro created "Battleship Records". Now being 2007 and after working on his debut record "Nice to meet you" for almost four years, Prologic and Battleship as a whole has become a household name in mouths of Portlands hiphop enthusiastsIt's been a long journey with many more years to come.Peace to the persistant! Watch for the Battleship albums in 2008-SANTOTZIN "Late nights and dollar beers", ANDYKAPP & PARMAJOHN "Grooves Brothers", PROLOGIC "Nice to meet you", OZONE "Space Cracker"!!!
