Prisoner in Orbit started off in 2006, playing late-afternoon/fortnightly sessions in the foggy "Santermerte". This is the "orbit" where they (Francesco, indubitably dynamic drummer; Filippo, indubitably tuned bass player/singer; Francesco, indubitably acid guitar player) chose to put together thrilling songs, noisy and direct. The three Prisoner ooze their sonic thought, as if compelled by the music itself. Their sound is characterized by a garage background, rarefied with punk noise, crushing melodies and harmonies, and a wild rhythm and time. It is a sound that melts together different musicalities, making their own groove multi-faced and varied, but still imprisoned within the underground orbit.

From Santermete, fertile soil of ideas but mainly of infinite sessions, The Prisoner moved to a wayward basement (metaphor of their mental state), where they constrain within their own orbits the music they want to make, and to play as sonic slaps.
