Brimming with youthful energy, self-confidence and conscious lyrics this artist has been intriguing many fans with her musical talent for years. YAA'ASANTEWAA LEWIS A.K.A. PRINCESS MENEN was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She began writing songs at the age of 13. While living in England (Birmingham) she began performing live by the age of 14. PRINCESS MENEN became a sizzling sensation, her first single recorded was a duet with Chrisinti "Nothing But Love". "Listen to Me Sing", another captivating melody that was produced by Sidney Mills (Living Room Studios), earned her an invitation to perform before 10,000 people at the NY Reggae Carifest 2001, and over 5,000 for Reggae Splash, NYC 2002. She created a lasting impression to fans at the 2003 Irie Jamboree concert in NYC and has performed at several concerts and festivals in the USA. For the past six years PRINCESS MENEN has moved the crowd in Negril, Jamaica for the annual Spring Break event New York-Miami Linkup," her talent has given her the opportunity in sharing the stage with such reggae hot shots as Elephant Man,Capleton, Sizzla, Beenie Man, among many others.
PRINCESS MENEN has been privileged enough to perform in "The Gambia" (West Africa) among reggae superstar Sizzla and Jesse Jendah in 2008 Rebel T & Betts promotion where she has performed three major shows each on separate nights
PRINCESS MENEN is also a C.E.O of her own Entertainment company,MOVES FE MEK ENT. She has a new Single called "Dem Nah Genuine" now on Itunes Produced by Partillo Productions, that gives you a new sound a mixture of Reggae RnB and Dancehall fused.
