??WHO IS PRETTY BOY??



born and raised in a town so small the biggest basketball player to play the game couldnt help this city out.
coming from Wilmington, North Carolina Pretty Boy been writting music since 5th grade and even then felt that if Michael Jordan couldnt do anything for his city then its all on him. he started off playin football and softball growing up hoping this will be his big ticket to put his city out there but just like any other sport stars theres alwayz some kind of down fall. he realized that this is not what he's here for, he come to find out that he love music a little bit too much and its a chance he could go off to college or to the NFL and get hurt and then its over.
since 5th grade he has been writing his own music and enjoys writing for other people at the same time playing sports but his dream is to make it big with his music. being inspired by Master P and Tupac and his uncle ROBERT L. LEWIS and his friend CHARLES HOLLIDAY. he grew up listening to different types of music till he got to the point where he came up with his own unique style. as far as his off the wall beef tracks with other local rappers and ex-friends and etc. with his word play and his one of a kind flow and style Pretty Boy uses it to the fullest. he played the trumpet for 3 yrs. he always had some kind of connection with music nomatter what he was doin. in the summer of 2005 Pretty Boy proved to everyone that those who have record deals is not any better than those that dont have them. so him and his enterauge took a trip to Charlotte, North Carolina to battle a "Def Jam" recording artist by the name of Young Leek with his smash hit single"jigglet it" killing the radio he felt as if he was on top. they were suppose to battle at his after party but instead they showed up in town at tha time Young Leek was on stage they battled in front of a couple hundred people and Pretty Boy came up with tha win.



but what really launched pretty boy's career locally was when he joined up with tha best rappers in his town at tha time, by the name of the HOODSTARS and him and his friend went up to there studio and rapped in front of them and when leader of tha HOODSTARS by the name of LAVISH told them to come to the studio after school which was rite down the street they came back and dropped a couple songs and then after they go done they let tha rest of the label listen to it, the label name was TLD(Thug Life Deciples) they said that they were hot and thats when tha he said im feelin yall style so im call yall the HOODLUMS.
with them being some of the youngest on the label, so this is around the time the name pretty boy came up with everybody calling him a pretty boy while attending NHHS he went to the studio and he said im changing my name to PRETTY BOY because he felt that it was too many rappers with YOUNG infront of there name, and now with Pretty Boy feeling like he's one of the best rappers in NC he gonna and have to put them on tha map "music is my life and my life is my music i dont rap i talk with rhythm" is what Pretty Boy say and with his heart that he have for music he promise to make something of it.
