PRESTAN

Musician, Songwriter, Producer, PRESTAN has put an imprint on the music scene. Respected amongst his peers, Prestan considers himself one of the most versatile Soca artistes in Trinidad & Tobago. His musical influences have crossed the cultural lines with R&B, Hip Hop and Chutney.but it's the love of SOCA music that has taken Prestan to new heights.
Trinidadian born, Prestan Andries is a resident of Arouca. His musical influences are Teddy Riley, Bobby Brown, Lauren Hill, Jay-Z, P. Diddy, Dr. Dre and Pharrell.
Music is definitely Prestan's forte. He has showcased his talents in writing, recording, singing and producing. To date, he has performed with a number of live Caribbean Bands namely KMC and his band Red, White & Black, Horizon, JMC 3Veni and Shurwayne Winchester & Y.O.U. His music catalog consists of collaborations with Machel/ MM HD (Oh Girl), King David (Holding On), Nadia Batson (It's My Life) and Patrice Roberts (Getaway).
In addition, Prestan had the opportunity to work with the following artistes: Mr. Vegas, Blakie, Farmer Nappy of HD, Varendra of JMC 3Veni and King David. Prestan's singing career heightened when he joined Shurwayne Winchester and the group Y.O.U in 2008 as the Frontline Vocalist. He also worked with the band Caribbean Traffik Jam (aka Traffik). Prestan's journey with Shurwayne led him to the 2010 collaboration "Chipping" (written by Prestan and Shurwayne Winchester) and performing at various local, regional and international shows and concerts.
Prestan's rendition of Maxwell's Pretty Wings @ Tobago Jazz 2010 (opening act for Eraykah Badu) shows the versatility of his talent and it was a performance well received. As he continues to work happily on his craft, he felt privileged simply to have had the opportunity to record and perform. Prestan's voice can also be heard on local and regional company jingles in the Caribbean. In 2012, it was an opportunity for him to be a Semi-Finalist in the International Digicel Power Soca Monarch where he performed one of his releases, "Start It".
Prestan is currently working on the completion of his Album "ALL FOR YOU" which will include the following songs: OH GIRL feat. Machel/MM HD (written and produced by Prestan), ROCK BACK ON IT, (written and produced by Prestan), MUST HAVE AH GYAL, (produced by Prestan) (Hardbody riddim) POSSE, (written and produced by Prestan) ON YA BUMPA (written by Prestan) (ABX riddim), WE DOH CARE, (written and produced by Prestan) and BETTER THAN YOURS (written by Prestan).
Prestan's fans and friends consider him a talented and dedicated individual with a peaceful disposition. Charismatic and Confident his musical goals is to blow the listeners mind and make them move to the beat. "You can accomplish anything once you put your mind to it if you stay persistent and disciplined", is Prestan's motto. Prestan's personal goal was to become an artiste, in which (he feels) he has achieved. He has set new standards for himself where his focus is on the vision of Prestan "The Executive" and Prestan "The CEO".
