DESCRIPTION:
VidyA is an adventurous new group led by saxophonist Prasant Radhakrishnan that combines the elements of Indian classical music (Carnatic) and Jazz. The video is from the daytime performance at the 2006 Artwallah Festival in Los Angeles. The song, entitled "Ascent" is an original composition based on Carnatic raga "Revati."
