Formatisi

nel

2001,

i

Potus,

sin

da

subito

hanno

miscelato

sonorità

malinconiche

a

ritmi

ipnotizzanti.

Dopo

vari

avvicendamenti

nel

corso

della

loro

esistenza,

i

Potus

si

stabilizzano

con

l’attuale

formazione

che

vede

Marco

alla

batteria,

Matteo

e

Alberto

alle

chitarre

e

tastiere,

Elena

al

violino

e

Guglielmo

al

basso.

Nel

2007,

con

tutte

le

componenti

al

completo,

i

Potus

hanno

deciso

di

rinnovare

i

loro

pezzi,

che

pure

avevano

riscosso

consensi

favorevoli

da

parte

del

pubblico,

concependoli

in

maniera

meno

immediata

e

più

complessa,

nei

quali

le

melodie

del

violino

si

intrecciano

con

le

distorsioni

delle

chitarre

sostenute

dalle

effervescenze

della

batteria.

The

Potus

born

in

2001,

and

since

the

beginning

they

mixed

melancholy

sounds

and

hypnotic

rhythms.

After

some

vicissitudes

during

their

existence,

the

Potus

have

become

stable

with

the

current

formation,

that

is:

Marco

to

the

drum,

Matteo

and

Alberto

to

the

guitars

and

the

keyboards,

Elena

to

the

violin,

and

Guglielmo

to

the

bass.

In

2007,

with

all

the

members,

the

Potus

decided

to

renew

their

songs,

although

they

had

received

favourable

judgements

by

the

public,

thinking

of

them

in

a

less

immediate

and

more

complex

songs

with

the

melody

of

the

violin

mingles

with

the

distortions

of

the

guitars,

sustained

by

a

sparkling

drum.
