About Us:



Portamento Records, established in 2006 by Dj’s/Producers Nino Anthony & David Farlow has burst into the underground house scene with a vengeance. With two decades combined dj experience under their belts, they felt the time was right to put their twist on what they think quality house music should sound like…raw, dirrrty, in your face music to get your ass movin’ on the dancefloor. David has recently decided to leave the label in 2008, and Portamento is now run soley by Nino Anthony.



Now up to 50+ quality releases out on the label to date (many of which have charted in the Top 100 on various download sites), Nino is consistently looking for and seeking out the freshest and hottest talent in the scene. With tracks and remixes already released by established artists such as Joachim Garraud, Jorge Jarmaillo (Who da Funk), Ben Macklin (Sucker Dj's), Eddie Thoneick, Emjae, Granite & Phunk, Boy 8 Bit, Angel Anx & Aleksij, & the red hot Alex Kenji to name a few, and future tracks/remixes in the works by up and coming artists like Incognet, French Government, Hard Rock Sofa, Swanky Tunes, among many others, Portamento is well under way to becoming a well-respected label in the scene.



2009 will prove to be a HUGE year for Portamento and Nino plans on bringing his label from an up and coming label, to a well-known and respected sound source for the masses. Stay tuned!
