Early December 1985, first Porn Orchard gig at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, opening for Die Monster Die. At this point, the band is Ted Hafer, vocals, Sam Mixon, drums, Curtiss Pernice, guitar, Ron Hargrove, bass.

Spring-Summer 1986, more gigs around Athens, with BBQ Killers, Mercyland, Dreams So Real, Eat America, etc.



The songs “Way To Change The Way You Feel” and “Our Band” recorded at PO house for local cassette comp Proud O’ Me Gluttony released Summer 1986.



Hit The Right People Hard cassette demo recorded at Mile 9 Studios in Loganville with Jeb Baldwin.



Touring around the Southeast, Summer 1986- Spring 1987.

East Coast tour, Summer 1987.



Keep That Pretty Smile cassette demo recorded at PO house Fall 1987.

Various songs included on various local compilations, including Slightly Blurred and Samizdat.



December 1987, Ron leaves band, Ted takes over bass guitar and singing.



Spring 1988, Chain Delivery/Barbie/ Desperate Formula 7” EP, recorded with John Keane, released on Spearhead records.



More touring on East Coast and through the South.



Fall 1989, Heart and Brain Raw EP, recorded with John Keane, released on Spearhead and touring follows.



Spring 1991, the song What Kills, recorded with Mark Maxwell, featured on C/Z record’s Teriyaki Asthma 7”.



Fall 1991, Urges and Angers released on C/Z records. The CD version also contains Heart and Brain Raw.



Much touring on East Coast and Midwest.



Xmas 1991, This Holiday Season, recorded with Scott Stuckey, is released on a Flagpole Christmas Album. Features Ted as Peter Murphy , Curtiss as Tom Waits and Sam on keyboards.



1992, Porn Orchard records Why Can’t I Touch It?, recorded with Kelly Noonan, for C/Z Buzzcocks cover comp Something’s Gone Wrong Again. This song features the infamous Larry King sample. More touring.



Summer 1992, recording Name Your Regions with David Barbe at John Keane studios.



December 1992, Porn Orchard plays last show at the Chameleon Club (formerly Uptown Lounge).



Summer 1993, C/Z releases Name Your Regions.
