Etiquette "Brown and Blue" @ScionSessions - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 30, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
For their latest collaborative effort, Scion Sessions and Toronto dream pop duo Etiquette (HolyFuck’s Graham Walsh and indie icon Julie Fader) bring you the visual treatment for “Brown and Blue”; the latest offering from their debut album “Reminisce,” due out March 24th, 2015.

Joining Scion Sessions and Etiquette, directors Christopher Mills and Gaëlle Legrand bring their unique vision to the table, capturing the ethereal mood and tone of Etiquette’s “Brown and Blue”.

From director Christopher Mills:
“When a lonely Alchemist from a parallel universe begins experimenting with the abstract, new worlds can open up. Our camera floats hypnotically around his breezy, dilapidated laboratory, at times guided by the ghosts and memories of his past experiments - pushed, it seems, by Etiquette's steady, pace, lush production, vocals, and cryptic lyrics.”

Scion Sessions has previously collaborated with Etiquette, bringing fans the sparse and moody track “Outside In” as part of the joint Scion Sessions x Field Trip limited edition Discovery Series 7” (http://bit.ly/1BVNCCr), as well as supporting their unforgettable live performance at the Field Trip Discovery Series Hand Drawn Dracula showcase.

About Etiquette
Etiquette is a new band, but its faces are familiar. Scan the liner notes of the many Canadian indie-rock favourites that line your record shelf, and you’re bound to see the names of Graham Walsh and Julie Fader, creative and domestic partners whose collective résumé unites not only the country’s myriad musical communities—from folk-rock to noise-punk—but the generations between them. Etiquette’s debut album, Reminisce, marks a distinct break in both sound and methodology from anything Fader or Walsh have ever done before. A hazy, nocturnal vibe permeates the 10 songs, evoking the post-Floydian soundscapes of Air’s Virgin Suicides soundtrack, or the slow, ambient pulse of the Drive soundtrack. Reminisce is due out on March 24th, 2015 through Hand Drawn Dracula.
