ALBUM REVIEWS:
"All firecrackers, colourful guitars and euphoric harmonies. High-quality power pop of this sort doesn't come along every day, and the super-drilled Heroes hit targets with finesse and style". **** - Gavin Martin - Daily Mirror
"We need albums like 'Escape The Lower End'. A debut that causes sunshine to spill from the speakers, the clouds to part and a hand to reach down and lift us above the mediocrity of life". 8/10 - Henry Yates - Classic Rock Magazine
"Something inherently, unashamedly superb about 'Escape The Lower End'. Hooks aren't just drenched, they're submerged; guitars don't ring, they clang; and punk/pop attitude doesn't just exude, it oozes" - Tony Clayton-Lea - The Irish Times
"Wonderfully infectious, uplifting, tunes that will have your day looking a much brighter place. Plastic Heroes combine the raw power of Iggy Pop in the wreckage of late 1970's Berlin with "White Album" era Beatles and deliver it with a kind of unfiltered cool… They also have their finger well and truly on the pulse of what makes a good record in true tradition!" - Jeff Perkins (Eurorock) - BC Music Magazine
"French frontman Marc Olivier is all too aware of his exotic pop heritage and brings it fully to bear on these twelve exquisitely crafted tracks… Singling out songs for particular attention is pointless, as just when you're getting used to one, along comes another yielding fresh sonic secret. The sparkling ingenuity of Be-Bop Delux springs to mind, but as far as contemporaries go, they'd be in fine company with Stereolab or Pulp; that good". ***** - Gerry Ranson - Rock'n'Reel Magazine
