BIOGRAPHY
Plan de fuga is an Italian band formed around the year 2005.
All members are pretty experienced musicians that also cooperate with different artists of the Italian music scene.
After a long rehearsal time the band immediately self produced a six tracks demo and started performing around Italy and abroad, they did three small tours in the Czech Republic in the years 2006, 2007 and 2009.
During the year 2008 the band recorded and produced their first album, "In a minute".
In 2009 the band signs their first contract with the independent label "About Blank", their debut album will be released in January 2010.
Plan de fuga's first single "Twice" gets immediately very good feedbacks and a few weeks after the digital release the song reaches No. 31 in the Italian singles charts.
The album has immediately been appreciated by both critics and public and the most important national radios and tvs put the single on rotation.
Three months after the album's release the band has been included in the Heineken Jammin' Festival's cast list. Plan de fuga will be performing on July 3 with international great bands such as Aerosmith, The Cranberries and Stereophonics. The band will also be the opening act for One Republic in the only Italian gig of their European tour, on April the 30th.
The band will soon be working on the second single's video that will be released in May 2010.
Their music is a mix of rock, pop, funk and dark. The band's intention is to blend different styles while never forgetting where their inspiration comes from. "In a minute" is the expression of different emotional shades, where every song reflects a number of different phases in the band's life experience. A kind of crossover of moods and colors and sounds.Plan de fuga in Spanish means "escape plan" and it stands for the band's urge to spread their musical message and perform as much and as far as possible, that is also the reason why the lyrics are in English.
The album "In a minute" has been recorded at "Registrazioni sotterranee" studio, put together for the occasion in Montichiari, Brescia (Italy). All songs are produced by Filippo De Paoli and Plan de fuga. Engineered and co-produced by Gianmarco Martelloni, in particular "Decadance" and "Blame". BIOGRAFIA
I Plan de fuga si formano nel 2005. Dopo un lungo periodo di sala prove il gruppo comincia ad esibirsi dal vivo e vince poco tempo dopo il premio per i migliori pezzi originali ad un concorso internazionale, che li porta a suonare sul palco del Rolling Stone di Milano. Nel 2006 i Plan de fuga auto producono un demo di sei pezzi che viene distribuito e venduto ai concerti per più di 700 copie.
Il Cd permette alla band di suonare in Lombardia e in giro per l'Italia per un totale di circa un centinaio di date.
Nel 2006 e nel 2007 organizzano due tour in Repubblica Ceca e sperimentano con ottimi risultati l'impatto della loro musica e del loro live all'estero, dove ritorneranno nel novembre 2009.
Tutto il 2008 è dedicato all'arrangiamento, produzione e registrazione del primo disco, in collaborazione tecnica e artistica col cantautore bresciano Gianmarco Martelloni.
Nel 2009 firmano il loro primo contratto discografico con l'etichetta indipendente About Blank, con la quale nel Gennaio del 2010 pubblicano l'album d'esordio dal titolo "In a minute".
Il primo singolo estratto dall'album, Twice, riscuote un ottimo successo tanto che fin dalle prime settimane dalla pubblicazione digitale scala le classifiche di vendita posizionandosi alla n°31.
La stampa reagisce positivamente all'esordio dei Plan De Fuga, così le radio e le principali tv musicali che accolgono da subito in rotazione il primo video della band.
Questi ottimi riscontri permettono al gruppo di iniziare a diffondere il "verbo" Plan de fuga nei locali dislocati sul territorio.
A Marzo 2010 a soli tre mesi dalla pubblicazione dell'album vengono inseriti nel cast dell'Heineken Jammin' Festival, il 3 Luglio si esibiranno sul prestigioso palco del parco San Giuliano a Venezia, in quella giornata artisti di fama internazionale Aerosmith, The Cranberries, Stereophonics.
Inoltre vengono scelti come gruppo di apertura per l'unica data italiana del tour europeo dei OneRepublic, il 30 Aprile 2010 ai Magazzini Generali a Milano.
In lavorazione per il mese di Maggio 2010 il secondo videoclip, che verrà realizzato sul secondo singolo estratto dall'album.
La musica dei Plan de fuga è un rock contaminato da influenze pop, funk e dark. L'intenzione è di mischiare diversi stili e le diverse influenze musicali dei componenti mantenendo una continuità nelle atmosfere e nei suoni. Varietà stilistica ed ampi spazi a passaggi strumentali sono tra le peculiarità compositive della formazione. Il nome, piano di fuga in lingua spagnola, rispecchia il desiderio della band di comunicare il proprio messaggio musicale e misurarsi anche con la scena musicale internazionale, motivo per cui i testi sono in lingua inglese.
L'album "In a Minute" è stato registrato presso lo studio "Registrazioni Sotterranee" di Montichiari (Bs), allestito appositamente per l'occasione. Tutti i pezzi sono stati prodotti da Filippo De Paoli e i Plan de fuga. Registrati e coprodotti da Gianmarco Martelloni. Il disco è stato mixato presso il Kitchen Studio di Vimercate (Mi) da Lorenzo Caperchi (Bluvertigo, Mercanti di Liquore etc.) e masterizzato da Alberto Cutolo presso il MassiveArts di Milano.
