PitchBlack was awarded with 'Best debut metal album' in Denmark 2007 for the album 'Designed to Dislike' at Danish Metal Awards, which was shown on MTV' s Headbangers Ball. The album was released world wide through the german label Limited Acces Records. The band signed with the german label in december 2006. At that time they had amde two demos in their three years of existence.
The band was quickly well established in the Danish underground as they won local contests and passed through to national contests as well. Their music has been very well recieved in both national and international press.
2011 - PitchBlack signs with Mighty Music and releases 'The Devilty' and play at Copenhell Festival.
They get banned in Germany due to artwork on The Devilty cover and are chosen play at Download Festival by LiveNation and international persons from the music industry.
The band have new music on its way in 2012. Stay tuned.
