Piss Ant was born as gnarled guitar sounds and guttural vocals whipped off an engaging live show. Before their tours and trips to SXSW, this band emerged from the underground scene and dove into the Hollywood scene head first. Attention to PISS ANT has culminated due to various TV show appearances.
Piss Ant has been know for "Punking" television channels and pulling off outlandish publicity stunts to get the band on National TV. The biggest stunt was informing VH-1 (for their show "Porn To Rock") that they were regular guests on Playboy TV.VH1 ran with it and now the entire country mistakes Josi for a porn star. Other stunts include pulling a practical joke on Piss Ant's drummer Jeff on "Girls Behaving Badly" (Oxygen Channel). Dave and Josi also starred on "Friends or Lovers" (USA Network) where Dave pulled a publicity stunt by firing Josi from the band on live TV. We have also performed as Christian band for "Hollywood Hell House" (a Comedy Central Production).Our next national performance and interview will be featured "On Q Live" (Q Television~The Queer Network) We embrace everyone and all TV opportunities!

Piss Ant can also be seen in Troma Pictures "Tales from the Crapper" starring Julie Strain & Trey Parker. You can also catch the band's video "SeXXX Junkie" on the Playboy Channel's "Sex Court." Piss Ant's songs are also featured on the cult classic "Chainsaw Sally".
