In the shadows of the Golden Gate Bridge PISEAS (pie-sees) spent his earliest days on the southern limits the San Francisco Bay Area. An hour’s drive from San Francisco’s bustling downtown, PISEAS grew up on the outskirts of the urban sprawl nestled along the hills of the Silicon Valley. Heavily influenced by the “Do It Yourself” attitude of the Bay Area music scene PISEAS was exposed to the independent hustle from the jump. As a youth PISEAS bumped music such as Bob Marley, Daysmen Empire, The Dereliks, Wu-Tang Clan, Too Short, & N.W.A. Coming up from the humble beginnings of writing and recording his earliest raps out of necessity on a $40 voice recorder, over time PISEAS developed a signature style filled with soul, character, and substance.

Together with his longtime brethren Style MISIA & The L.E.F.T.- PISEAS started releasing underground tapes & records, which garnered critical acclaim, however, lacked the financial resources necessary for the proper exposure instrumental to commercial success. Nevertheless, backed by the mature production and musical direction of STYLE MISIA, together PISEAS and The L.E.F.T. developed a chemistry that was most solid at its artistic core. Dedicated to writing intriguing lyrics, PISEAS experienced his first hit song with the lost love story of “Romance 1200’s” produced by DJ Fresh. Consequently learning the importance of commercially viable material early in his career, PISEAS carries the lessons of an underground struggle through the ups and downs of survival as an independent artist. Skillfully positioned in today’s modern music terrain PISEAS distinguishes himself through uncompromising yet heartfelt lyrics. By touching a wide range of human emotions, the music of PISEAS possesses neither fear nor inhibition-but a harmony between intelligence & raw emotion.
