PIP CARTER LIGHTER MAKER

Pip Carter Lighter Maker is 2005 Claudio Luppi's

project, made of sun beams reflected through trees and

caleidoscopic thoughts grabbed just before fallin'

asleep, to bring us those kind of childish sleepy

feelings.



Not to be conceived as a hobby, but as a concrete and

powerful need to express themselves, Pip Carter's

first twelve songs see the light of day in 2006

recorded in solitude with a four tracks cheap recorder

in the suburbs of Modena and finally with the two

right men:

Pier the mystic drummer and Carl the shy bassist.



During several months Pip Carter plays live on many

different stages and one extra member (Lenny on

guitar ) join the band to define

and give more strenght to the sound wich now is pure,

rude, and more defined even thanks to the tireless

live actvity and to the concord between the members:

so Pip Carter's universe is born and start getting

concrete shape



Anyway it is very difficult to define Pip Carter's

original sound, but their influences are strictly

linked to band as the Kinks, the Who, Pink Floyd, the

Grateful Dead, Blues Magoos or even the Beatles and

The Stones and present day band as Oasis or Ocean
